An original Apple computer which was founded on April 1, 1976 by college dropouts Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak has sold at auction for $388,000(3 crore). It was one of the first Apple computers ever built.
Apple first computer sold for $388,000 at Christie’s online auction. Bolaffi, an Italian collections company, says in a statement that it bought the computer. The seller was a retired school psychologist from Sacramento, Calif.
This computer is loaded with only best components. It has three capacitors, a whopping 8 kilobytes of random access memory, a printed circuits board with 4 rows A-D, whatever that means and an Apple-1 motherboard.
According to the James Hyslop “Computers presale estimate reflected a growing interest in early computer technology. He said this is the computer that start apple, now recognized as the most valuable company in the world”.
