Aap starts ice bucket campaign for funding

Aam Aadmi party is going to follow the viral event of ice bucket challenge as its poll campaign. Aam Aadmi party has decided to launch a formal version of the ice bucket challenge to collect donations. According to the latest reports recent promotional plan of the popular event as a promotion weapon, Aap leader said, “I will fund honest politics challenge”.

This challenge will be first started by Aap chief Arvind Kejriwal, who will be donating an amount to the party and then nominating about 10 people to do the same. The amount will kept in the range of Rs 1,500-2,000. Party sources said its target of Rs 30 core could be met through those plans.

“This can be seen as political strategy. Whoever funds the party will want benefits. Just like Swacch Bharat abhiyan, this is a Swacch Rajneeti initiative. If corporate are funding other parties, giving them thousands of cores, they will want enough benefits. We don’t need such benefits. We are taking money from people. So we will work in the interest of the common public”, Aam Aadmi Party leader.
